We want to take the confusion out of tea and help you find a blend that fits you best. That’s why we categorize all of our loose leaf blends into 5 different functions: Energizer, Slenderizer, Eternity, Immunity, and Relaxer. Each tea blend is categorized based on what it’s ingredients naturally do for you, and within each function we offer several different blends with a variety of flavor profiles. This way, you can find your function and pick your flavor!
At Tiesta Tea, we are on a mission to make understandable, accessible and affordable loose leaf teas. We source our ingredients from around the world to ensure that we have the best ingredients in our teas. We keep it simple with all natural, loose leaf tea blends using full tea leaves, real fruits, herbs and spices. Because you can find us online and in your grocery store, we don’t have the overhead costs that other stand-alone shops or fancy tea stores do. We save, you save.
Tiesta Tea uses the highest quality ingredients to provide the healthiest form of tea. Ingredients from ginger, hibiscus, rose hip and more can be found in different Tiesta Tea blends.
Our Energizer teas have a high caffeine content. Caffeinated tea is an elongated energy boost that won’t give you the jitters like coffee does. The Eternity, Immunity and Relaxer Herbal teas do not have caffeine.
We care about you and what you put into your body, which is why we are working so hard on getting all of our teas certified Non-GMO. So far, we have had 42 of our tea blends officially certified by the Non-GMO Project Verified.

Flavorful, Functional Tea
How did you come up with the idea for this product?
The idea came from a study abroad trip we took in college. We saw these exotic loose-leaf tea blends all over the city of Prague and wondered why you couldn’t find them back in the US. We created the Tiesta Tea brand to make tea easy to understand, with five different functions (Energizer, Slenderizer, Immunity, Relaxer and Eternity) with different flavors under each, so that somebody could pick a tea that fits their daily needs.
What makes your product special?
They are all loose-leaf teas, bursting with real chunks of fruit, herbs and spices. We have windows on the packaging so you can see the product inside, and ingredients right on the front of the packaging so that you know exactly what you are consuming. Transparency is one of our core values here at Tiesta Tea and our product and packaging reflects that.
What has been the best part of your startup experience?
Late last year, we launched the Living Well Project, where we built a water well in a remote village in North-Central Nigeria for our hibiscus farmers to give back directly to the community that helps make one of our most important ingredients. We took a trip to Nigeria to commission the well and celebrated the opening of the water spouts with thousands of Nigerian villagers. It was a life changing experience that shows the power that business can have in doing good in the world.
